PEACE AMIDST OUR EVERYDAY STORMS.

Jesus said,"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27
What does that mean? It means we have to choose to be in peace deliberately, intentionally as a first choice by trusting God. Otherwise the only person to be in a storm of anger, hurt, anxiety is US alone. Here are some of the things we can do to live in a peaceful frame of mind.

We do not let people--their behaviour, their attitude, their speech--upset our peace.People are everywhere and we are one of them too. To err is human, to forgive is divine.Above all,our Almighty God is in perfect control over the entire universe.

Know that, everyone is accountable for their actions when they have to face God.

If we judge ourselves or others, know that , no one is less or more sinner than the other person because in God's eyes , everyone is a sinner of the same degree. No one sins MORE,No one sins less.

Instead of loosing peace (by becoming anxious, frustrated, worried, hurt, angry, furious), trust God to make things better and smoothen out the circumstances.Allow Him to help you. God smoothens things, people, situations, circumstances over time.

If you beleive that you are His then God has a good plan for you,He wants to give you a good future.Dont jeapordize it by acting in your own strength.

Ways to have a peaceful mind: 1.Stay under God's protection through prayer.2. Trust God to smooth out the situation. Know that God always smoothens circumstances, people, situations in HIS TIME. Remember He worked on you too. 3.Reflect on things that are right, true, noble, lovely, good report, admirable, praiseworthy, excellent.(Phillipians 4:8)

Advantages we have with a peaceful mind : Firstly, we tend to make a lot of wise and advantageous decisions only when we have peaceful mind.Secondly, we maintain our good health.

Phill 4:6,7:Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
